Software Developers

Contributing to the ongoing evolution of Entero’s software offerings, developers are the key cornerstone to providing solid technical solutions for our clients needs.  Working alongside the Design Committee, QA, and Client Service teams, Entero’s Development team is responsible for the technical design, and quality programming to ensure solutions meet and exceed client requirements and expectations.  Responsibilities typically include:

• Gaining a solid understanding of the business requirements
• Developing/coding based on in-depth knowledge of business requirements
• Testing code and sharing development best practices
• Working with various internal groups to resolve issues

Successful candidates for the Software Developer role:

• Contribute immediately to the ongoing success of Entero
• Are team oriented, problem solvers and focused ‘doers’ with a natural service oriented skill-set
• Possess practical and educational structured programming skills with many of the following:
  • Java (essential to have vast experience in at least one)
    • J2EE
    • Object Relational Mapping Framework
      • Hibernate or Toplink
    • Web
      • JSP
      • SOAP
    • XML
      • XSLT
      • XSL:FO
  • Powerbuilder (would be a definite asset)
  • Crystal Reports (would be a definite asset)
  • Oracle 10g, 11g & Oracle Weblogic Server 9.2 and 10.3
    • SQL
    • PL/SQL Developer

• Have experience in commodity businesses (NGL, Gas, Crude, Petroleum)
• Have experience or knowledge with the following:
  • RUP & Agile development processes
  • Java development environment
  • Unit test design and automated test scripting
  • IBM’s Rational Functional Tester (RFT)
  • PL/SQL script writing
  • User Interface Design and Layout  
• Possess strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Have excellent communication and organizational ability
• Possess a results-oriented skill-set
