Quality Assurance Analysts

Working with Development and Client Service groups, Entero QA Analysts are responsible for the quality of Entero’s software offerings from the design phase through release.  Responsibilities typically include:

• Design, writing, and review of automated and manual test plans
• Manual testing of individual application components based on test plans and designs
• Development of automated test scripts
• Improving automated testing tool processes
• Replicating client issues where applicable and provide detailed test steps for Development teams to be used in debugging and testing of resolutions
• Working with Development and Product Management on ongoing review and improvement of QA practices for specific projects and in general

 Successful candidates for the Quality Assurance Analyst role:

• Have practical QA experience within the software industry
• Are equipped with post-secondary technical training
• Possess an uncanny attention to detail and are sharp analytical problem-solvers
• Have an understanding or experience with the following:
  • RUP & Agile development processes
  • Java development environment
  • Unit test design and automated test scripting
  • IBM’s Rational Functional Tester (RFT)
  • PL/SQL script writing
  • The energy industry
• Possess a positive team-oriented attitude
• Have excellent communication and organizational ability
• Have implementation or project management experience
• Possess a results-oriented skill-set
