Database Analysts

Entero Database Analysts are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of various external clients’ databases specific to Entero’s software offerings in an Oracle environment.  Responsibilities typically include:

• Working with clients (either a client DBA or primary contact) and internal teams to ensure the successful database implementation, upgrade, or required patches
• Regular database maintenance, automated monitoring and responding to unplanned outages or service disruptions
• Recommendation of server, and network h/w configuration for Entero applications
• Database backup, recovery, and security
• Deployment of web applications on web server environments
• Acting as a liaison between client and DBMS vendor to report and resolve problems

  Successful candidates for the Database Analyst role:

• Have educational expertise in Database Administration – Oracle certified & completion of Database Administration courses
• Have practical DBA experience
• Are naturally client focused and have great client service abilities
• Have worked within the software industry
• Possess a positive team-oriented attitude
• Have excellent communication and organizational ability
